Portland extends eviction protection for renters through Jan. 8

The Portland City Council has voted to extend eviction protections for renters through Jan. 8, as the COVID-19 pandemic continues in Oregon. Portland passes nation’s toughest restriction on facial recognition technology

The Portland City Council has passed the nation’s strictest ban on facial recognition technology, barring the use of the software by city bureaus and restricting its use by private businesses.
